In addition to the recognition by Aruba, Bucuti & Tara knows that our cherished guests and our Bucuti Associates who they adore are essential elements that keep the resort among Tripadvisor’s Top 25 Best Hotels in the World. We are flattered when guests join us whether it is for their engagement, honeymoon, milestone anniversary, babymoon or “just because.” What makes us blush as much as it inspires us to never rest is when guests come back year after year.
One of our great joys is providing highly personalized service in an adults-only setting of tranquility, laidback luxury and mesmerizing natural scenery. It is a wonderful compliment when guests are so appreciative and inspired that they choose to regularly return. Both Bucuti & Tara and our island home of Aruba relish celebrating such dedication. In recognition of guests who call us their “Aruba home away from home,” together with the Aruba Tourism Authority, we celebrate them as Distinguished Visitors and Ambassadors.
Aruba’s most loyal visitors
The Aruba Tourism Authority honors returning guests as Distinguished Visitors and Ambassadors of Aruba. These guests are honored with a framed certificate presented on behalf of the Minister of Tourism in appreciation for their visits, loyalty and love for Aruba. Presented at the resort, we love every opportunity provided by the Aruba Tourism Authority to celebrate with a special Champagne toast with every honoree.
There are three levels of recognition based on the number of years they have been visiting: Distinguished Visitor (10 years or more), Goodwill Ambassador (20 years or more) and Emerald Ambassador (35 years or longer).
Meet Bucuti & Tara’s newest Goodwill Ambassadors
This July, Mr. and Mrs. Roy and Julie George, together with the Aruba Tourism Authority, we celebrated their 20th year of visiting us. They are the resort’s first Goodwill Ambassadors for 2024. Hailing from the United States, it was a pleasure learning what brings them back year after year. The Georges return for the resort and island’s warm, genuine hospitality, turquoise water and white sand along Bucuti & Tara's wide stretch on Eagle Beach, and the opportunity to relax in a peaceful setting or choose to experience the many facets Aruba has to offer. During their ceremony, they went on to declare, " Bucuti & Tara is the best hotel in Aruba." Mr. and Mrs. George, it is our pleasure and we are honored to celebrate you!
Meet the Distinguished Visitors of 2024
This year, thirteen guests have marked their 10th consecutive year or more of visiting. The Aruba Tourism Authority is always excited to welcome newcomers to this first of the three elite levels. Here at Bucuti & Tara, in 2024, we have joined in honoring new members of the Distinguished Visitors level including Ms. Schmick, Mr. and Mrs. Bench, Mr. and Mrs. Blackburn, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence, Mr. and Mrs. Coppola, Mr. and Mrs. Fisher, and Mr. and Mrs. Urban.
