It´s no secret that Aruba boasts some of the world´s most beautiful beaches, including our home here on Eagle Beach. What you may not think of are all the experiences that await you off the white sand.

We’ve all been there. You’re planning your next getaway. You’ve chosen your destination, found the ideal resort and you’re ready to click book.

When we ask guests what's the first thing they'd like to do upon checking into Bucuti the response is often take a swim in that beautiful water. When you arrive you'll see why. Before your plane even touches down in Oranjestad the crystal blue waters off Aruba's coast will start to call your name. Like most of the Caribbean, the water here is refreshing and clear, standing in sharp contrast to our white sand beaches.

As part of our ongoing commitment to creating a complete sense of wellness and instituting meaningful sustainable practices, we are currently completing LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification.

Our primary goal is to do everything it takes to help you, our valued guest, enjoy your hard-earned beach vacation and pure relaxation from the moment you book your getaway to the moment you check-out. That being said, we also completely understand that sometimes situations arise leaving you with no other option but to cancel your trip to Bucuti due to unforeseen circumstances beyond your control. To make this difficult situation easier on you we'd like to take a moment to review our cancellation policy. It is our hope that this will help to alleviate any unnecessary stress and charges.

Like many of you, we see the New Year as a time to make resolutions. So as we entered 2014 we decided there could be no better time to continue improving our commitment to guest service.

While guests enjoy that Aruba is referred to as ´One Happy Island´ and can be captivated with our beautiful beaches, crystal clear waters, white sandy beaches and friendly people, we think it is still very important to remind our valued guests year after year that safety must always be top of mind, no matter how safe or comfortable we feel.

At Bucuti, we´re proud to be eco-pioneers, and creating a sustainable, eco-friendly environment for our guests is woven throughout the fabric of our company culture. We go far beyond towel- and electricity-saving programs, and have made significant investments in eco-technologies and systems, as well as environmentally safe products to earn the title of Top 10 Green Hotels in the Caribbean and earning a Green Globe High Achievement Award.

U.S. Departures from Aruba’s airport require an early check-in, but the benefit is that you then skip immigration and customs after arriving at your destination. We often receive inquiries from our American guests asking why it’s necessary to arrive at the airport three hours in advance, in comparison to the two hours required in the U.S. The answer is simply that our Queen Beatrix Airport provides full pre-clearance to the U.S. While this may seem like a bit of a hassle at first glance, it actually offers a great benefit to the traveler.
