This year ahead Bucuti & Tara Beach Resorts is celebrating our silver anniversary, 25 years of great success, prestigious awards, and fantastic memories. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have been a part of our Bucuti family and share some background on how we arrived here today.

The true sign that we have succeeded in providing our guests with a memorable stay is when you return year after year. For us it simply means that we delivered. Perhaps you enjoyed a romantic dinner or loved the breathtaking views or maybe it was a serene afternoon on the beach that made you decide to come back to Bucuti, but whatever the reason, we are delighted that you found what you are looking for. But what happens when a guest does not find that same experience? That?s where our Bucuti team can help.

From snorkeling to hiking, there is plenty to do here in Aruba on both land and sea. We want to ensure that you have a wonderful experience here on the island and therefore would like to share a few pointers on what not to do. By following these basic suggestions, you?ll ensure that your stay here with us is memorable for all the right reasons.

We are often asked by our guests what Bucuti means and why the name Tara? The answers are simple and I am happy to share the story. Like many visitors, I fell in love with the island of Aruba while on holiday.

A main reason Bucuti is one of the most beloved resorts in Aruba is our location on Eagle Beach. The pristine wide stretch of sand has been designated as one of the top beaches in the world attracting visitors from both near and far. While our resort area is reserved exclusively for our guests we cannot deny beach access to anyone, as all beaches here in Aruba are public. Fortunately, we do not have a major issue with crowds coming to our beach, which allows us to maintain a tranquil atmosphere, however there are occasional outside visitors.

In Malcolm Gladwell’s wildly successful book, The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference, the tipping point is described as "that magical moment when an idea, trend or social behavior crosses a threshold, tips, and spreads like wildfire". For the hospitality industry such a moment is upon us and it is what industry veteran Ray Burger has playfully referred to as ?The Dripping Point?.

As the only boutique-style beach resort in Aruba that caters exclusively to adults we are able to perfect the tranquil vacation experience our guests are seeking. While we haven’t always been adults-only, we believe that at heart Bucuti has always been a haven for couples and like many of the decisions we’ve made here, the transition to an adults-only policy came based on the feedback provided by our loyal guests.

Surprises can be great, but no one likes surprises when it comes to bills at the end of a wonderful experience. We recognize that a honeymoon or vacation is a financial commitment and want to be very clear about the services and accommodations one can expect when arriving at Bucuti.

We often receive questions from our guests regarding attire here at Bucuti and Aruba in general. Like most destinations, there is a time and place for everything ranging from bathing suits to business suits. So, here are a few pointers on dressing up or down throughout your stay.
