Cancel if you must but please..

Our primary goal is to do everything it takes to help you, our valued guest, enjoy your hard-earned beach vacation and pure relaxation from the moment you book your getaway to the moment you check-out. That being said, we also completely understand that sometimes situations arise leaving you with no other option but to cancel your trip to Bucuti due to unforeseen circumstances beyond your control. To make this difficult situation easier on you we’d like to take a moment to review our cancellation policy. It is our hope that this will help to alleviate any unnecessary stress and charges.

Since we are located on Aruba our primary business is driven by advanced reservations, not walk-in bookings. This is why we have always maintained a 15-day cancellation policy that charges the guest a 100 percent penalty if they cancel 14 days or less prior to arrival for stays through December 22, 2016. As per Dec 23, 2016, the cancellation policy is for 30 days prior to arrival. However, we were not charging a guest’s credit card for their stay, until checkout.

Unfortunately, over the past year we have received multiple last minute cancellations. To be consistent with our cancelation policy your full reservation will now be charged 15 days or 30 days prior to your arrival. per the cancellation policy. All incidental charges such as meals will then be charged when you check out. As a small, independently owned business with a high demand, we are not able to be flexible when it comes to the paid deposit with last-minute cancellations. To avoid charges and protect our guests we have always recommended that you acquire travel insurance.

While many guests may think they will never actually need insurance, we highly recommend it, as insurance is never really needed until unforeseen circumstances change your plans.
