Experience Bucuti & Tara’s New Nature-Immersed Yoga Deck

Experience Bucuti & Tara’s New Nature-Immersed Yoga Deck

Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort, renowned as Aruba's premier adults-only resort, has introduced a new wellness gem: a serene open-air yoga deck. Nestled in a lush courtyard adorned with indigenous plants and trees, this tranquil space enhances the resort’s comprehensive wellness offerings. Overlooking the pristine Eagle Beach—celebrated as one of the "Dream Beaches of the World"—the yoga deck invites both guests and locals to embrace a holistic, multisensory approach to health and mindfulness.

A Rejuvenating Start to 2025

The yoga deck debuted on Jan. 3 with a special inaugural class led by Aruba Holistic Wellness Instructor Andrea Herrera. A diverse group of 13 participants, including resort guests and locals, gathered to set personal intentions for the year. Andrea then guided the group through a restorative and rejuvenating session, beginning with calming breathwork complemented by the soothing tones of singing bowls.

The experience seamlessly transitioned into gentle yin yoga poses, culminating in a transformative sound healing session. This ancient practice uses sound vibrations to foster relaxation, emotional well-being, and balance—leaving participants feeling deeply rejuvenated and at peace.

Yoga in Harmony with Nature

The open-air yoga studio is an extension of Bucuti & Tara's dedication to Aruba’s natural beauty. Surrounded by native plants, including the first tree planted by Ban Lanta y Planta, the resort’s co-founded reforestation initiative, the deck creates a serene ambiance. Its open-air design invites soft breezes while the bamboo shade provides comfort and privacy, making it a true oasis of tranquility nestled in the courtyard, overlooking the wide stretch of Eagle Beach.

A Wellness Experience for All

Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned yogi, the yoga deck offers a full menu of classes tailored to all levels. From energizing sunrise yoga to relaxing evening meditations, aerial yoga, Pilates, cocooning, and sound healing, every session is thoughtfully designed to meet diverse wellness needs.

In Sept. 2024, Forbes declared about the resort’s yoga experience, “for a crème de la crème experience — and for something completely different — you just may want to visit Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort – a Four-Diamond award-winner, and an adults-only posh property that usually has a 97% occupancy, it is so popular."

Well before arriving to Aruba, resort guests can enjoy planning their wellness experiences including the new yoga deck offerings by working with their personal concierge, registering online or by emailing the resort’s certified wellness instructors at wellness@bucuti.com. The flexibility of private sessions and group classes ensures every individual can find a practice that aligns with your goals as you journey along your own continuum of wellness.

Expanding Bucuti & Tara’s Wellness Vision

This yoga deck marks a significant expansion of Bucuti & Tara's comprehensive wellness program, complementing their existing next-generation fitness facilities, customized wellness itineraries connecting Aruba’s top wellness experts with guests, personalized nutrition counseling, spa treatments with ingredients derived locally, and more. Rooted in the resort's three cornerstones—romance, wellness, and sustainability—the yoga deck integrates seamlessly into its mission of fostering balanced living.

Additionally, as the Caribbean’s first and only certified carbon-neutral hotel, the eco-conscious design of the yoga deck underscores the resort’s commitment to sustainability.
