Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort in Aruba welcomes the arrival of Nicolas Nemalceff as our new Director of Food & Beverage. With a remarkable global journey and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences, Nemalceff brings a fresh flair to the beloved Caribbean epicurean destination.

Meet Nicolas Nemalceff

Nicolas Nemalceff is a culinary virtuoso whose career spans five continents and eight countries, including Ecuador, Australia, Italy, Indonesia, the United States, Germany, Costa Rica, and Bolivia. His path to Bucuti & Tara includes working with renowned hotel brands such as Ritz-Carlton, Marriott, Raffles and Accor, where he mastered the art of hospitality and dining.

Nemalceff’s culinary journey has seen him collaborate with Two- and Three-Star Michelin chefs across Asia and Europe, including Julien Royer of Odette in Singapore, Thitid Tassanakajohn of Le Du in Bangkok, and Kirk Westaway of JAAN by Kirk in Singapore. He has also worked with celebrity pastry chefs like Adriano Zumbo and Will Goldfarb, contributing to Top 10 Restaurants in Europe and Top 50 Restaurants in Asia.

Elevating your dining experience

As a passionate hotelier, Nemalceff is dedicated to enhancing all aspects of Bucuti & Tara’s award-winning dining experiences. His expertise extends to serving as a private mixologist for luxury brands such as Hennessy, Dior, and Louis Vuitton in Asia, and he has been a Hennessy Masterclass speaker and a finalist in Accor’s regional mixology competition.

Elements just extended its multiyear honor of the coveted, internationally acclaimed Wine Spectator Award of Excellence 2024. Elements and SandBar guests can also anticipate Nicolas’s attention to detail in continuing to evolve our wine selections focusing on quality and diverse selections that complement their meals for a perfectly paired experience.

A multicultural pursuit of excellence

Nemalceff's academic achievements include a Bachelor in Business Administration with a concentration in Hospitality Management from Hawaii Pacific University and a Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 certification with Distinction. He also holds certifications in HACCP, ServSafe, Food Safety Management and First Aid.
