There are many things we are passionate about here at Bucuti including environmental preservation, community involvement, and providing the highest level of service to our guests. We also strongly support our guests’ ability to voice their opinions and take our responsibility to listen to them very seriously.
In a 2014 study, the travel research firm PhoCusWright found that more than two thirds of travelers usually, if not always, reference TripAdvisor, the world’s largest review site, before selecting a hotel. More than 80 percent of those who participated in this same survey noted that the reviews helped them feel more confident in their decisions, which led to a better trip overall.
We welcome reviews because, first and foremost, they help us stay accountable. Our guests’ opinions matter to us. We take all feedback we receive to heart and use it to shape and evolve the Bucuti experience. One example of such action: after a guest shared their displeasure that guests from a neighboring resort were crowding our bar during happy hour, we changed our policy to make SandBar exclusive to those staying at Bucuti.
While we often get comments and suggestions through the one-on-one conversations we have with guests during their stay, review sites like TripAdvisor provide a great opportunity to share details they may not have had the chance to relay otherwise or that they felt more comfortable compiling after returning home. We make a point of reading every review posted about Bucuti, good or bad, and respond directly when appropriate. We also reward associates who are positively mentioned in reviews through our Bucuti’s Best bonus program that recognizes outstanding customer service.
Our management team isn’t the only party that benefits from learning about our guests’ individual experiences. Potential first-time visitors do as well. Review sites are the ideal forum for those considering a stay at Bucuti to learn about the experience first-hand.
One of the most exceptional aspects of Bucuti is that it is not a “one size fits all”resort. There are many hotels and resorts out there that claim to have something for everyone, but that is not what we are all about. We offer a tranquil, adult exclusive atmosphere that allows guests to relax with their significant other. Guests seeking this type of experience usually have a remarkable time with us.
It’s all a matter of perspective. What may be a positive to you, such as a quiet beach area, could be a negative for someone seeking a more lively atmosphere.
We are extremely proud of the many accolades and high ratings Bucuti has received, but that does not mean the resort is right for everyone. For those looking for something a bit different, Aruba has plenty of outstanding options where families, groups of friends, or action seekers will feel right at home.
